ISOC212 — Chinese Culture
This course is designed for the students to under- stand Chinese people and society in the perspectives of tradition, customs, art, literatur and education, etc. A series of lectures concernin the subjects are offered. Sample topis include: Chinese Women, Marriage and the Family; Religion in China; and Chinese Local Operas. Off-campus activities are provided to help the students understand better what they have learned in class.
