ISOC264 — Contemp Ecuadorian Society
This course will address contemporary issues facing ecuador today. Using sociological methodology and readings, and incorporating a hand on "service learning" component the course will cover three general areas. First it will provide students with a theoretical and historical framework for the study of contemporary social issues. Second, it will explore the link between ecuadorian politics, economics, history and culture.
