MDLT263 — Clinical Chemistry III
This course focuses on the study of bone, emphasizing its matrix and cellular components, formation and resorption. The student will investigate the effects of growth and disease on bone metabolism. The activity and role of various clinically significant enzymes are studied in detail. The study of lipids will emphasize the various fractions, noting their cardiovascular and storage implications.(Prerequisites: MDLT-153; Corequisites: MDLT-261, MDLT-262, MDLT-264, MDLT-265)
