MUTC215 — Composing Music for Media

This is a highly advanced course, designed with the composer/musician in mind. The student will employ his/her skills that were acquired through the series of Pro Tools®, Finale®, and communication media courses. In this course, the student will learn the history of film scoring, the symbiotic relationship between film (or other media) and music, and ultimately compose original scores for short film cues, commercials and gaming storyboards.(Prerequisites: MUTC-111, MUTC-201 and COMM-115; Prerequisites or corequisites: COMM-216)
