PHIL115 — Introduction to Philosophy
Students investigate key issues in philosophy, including the nature of self, knowledge and truth, freedom and determinism, morality, the nature of the universe, the existence of God, death and afterlife, meaning and purpose. Emphasis will be given to clarifying students' own thinking on these issues through reading, reflection and discussion. (Prerequisite: READ-092, READ-095 or satisfactory completion of the College's foundational studies requirement in reading)
