This course covers the theory and principles of respiratory care applied to infants and children in the acute and sub acute care setting. Topics include development of the pulmonary system, diseases and disorders, respiratory management including PALS and NALS protocols, and special considerations in the management of infants and children. (Prerequisites: RESP-163, RESP-164 and RESP-165; Corequisite: RESP-262; Prerequisites or corequisites: BIOL-213 and PSYC-106)
