BUS 275 - Accounting Information Systems BUS 275 - Accounting Information Systems Computer-based accounting systems with emphasis on development and implementation. Topics will include: creation of a general ledger, establishment of accounts receivable and billing procedures, management of cash and current liabilities, and payroll accounting. Also to be addressed is the development of a variety of custom management reports. The course will be divided into two parts. During part one students will learn the tools necessary to implement an accounting system. Part two will consist of students working in teams to develop a system.
