CLT 250 - Human Histology CLT 250 - Human Histology The study of microscopic anatomy of cells, tissues, and organs with a focus on the recognition, of structure and basic functions. The course includes the study of cell anatomy, basic tissue types, and common histochemical stains, and applies these to the study of organs as systemic arrangements of tissues performing a specific function, such as respiration, digestion, reproduction, etc. Identify and describe the microscopic arrangement of normal human cells, tissues, and organs and correlate them to the basic function of each organ system. Describe common histological procedures and recognize stains used to differentiate tissues and cells.
