ECE 256 - STEAM for Young Children ECE 256 - STEAM for Young Children This course explores how to create and implement integrated science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics or STEAM activities for young children from infancy to age eight. Developmentally appropriate mathematics instruction for young children is emphasized. Activity planning, child observation and assessment, teacher reflective practices and documenting learning using digital technology will be explored through hands-on projects with young children.
