MUS 106 - Music Theory II MUS 106 - Music Theory II Continuation of Music Theory I including part writing of all diatonic chords in first and second inversion, harmonic analysis of all non-harmonic tones including inversions of the dominant seventh chord and transposition and scoring for brass instruments. Construct and discuss the differences between small form types. Correctly build seventh chords in both Major and minor keys. Successfully analyze and compose counterpoint examples in First and Second species. Demonstrate an understanding of music theory and the creative process inherent therein.
