This course is a continuation of Organic Chemistry I and Lab ( CHM-251 ). Topics include aromatic substitution reactions, carbonyl addition reactions, acid derivatives, amines, and carbohydrates. Both the laboratory and lecture use instrumental methods for the structural analysis of organic compounds. Students are required to purchase approved safety goggles.
