CRJ-211 — Criminal Procedure
This course examines the workings of those Amendments to the United States Constitution relate to the field of Criminal Justice and that protect the rights of the people. Students will learn about habeas corpus, search and seizure practices pursuant to the Fourth Amendment; self-incrimination under the Fifth Amendment; right to counsel under the Sixth Amendment; and how the rights protected by these amendments were incorporated by the Fourteenth Amendment and made applicable to both state and federal law enforcement.
