EMS-207 — Principles of Paramedicine III
This course builds upon the knowledge and skills learned in Principles of Paramedicine I & II. Topics: Pediatrics, Assessment of the Pediatric Patient, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Geriatrics, Traumatic Systems and Mechanisms of Injury, Hemorrhage and Shock, Head and Facial Trauma, Thoracic Trauma, Abdominal Trauma, and Musculoskeletal Trauma. Students will demonstrate knowledge and perform manipulative skills under the supervision of the course instructor, program director, medical director, and/or skilled preceptor.
