HIS-117 — Women in U.S. History

This class will explore women’s roles in American history. It will provide a chronology of the progress of their role from chattel to citizens. Cultural phenomenon including gender identity, economics, government and law, and mass media will be examined in relation to their impact on women. This course will provide students with valuable insight into the women’s movement and provide them with a working definition of feminism and its goal. Gen. Ed. Course No Mass Transfer Course Yes
