This course encompasses accounting principles unique to the hospitality industry and financial management strategies specific to hospitality-based businesses. Special emphasis is given to procedures that minimize costs while maintaining the full range of customer services. Other topics include accounting principles and procedures, elements of financial statements, maintaining financial statements, and analysis of financial records.
