HSV-220 — Practicum in Human Services I

3 credits · 3 hours

Practicum experiences in a human services setting to be completed the final semesters of study, including the 90-hour training in the national Family Development Credentialing program. Course runs during fall, spring, and early summer semester and must be started in the fall semester. The department assigns placement settings. Students must make application for placement and enrollment spring semester prior to fall registration. Acceptance into the human services program does not assure permission to enroll in the course or a placement assignment. A Criminal Offense Records Investigation (CORI) is required of all practicum students. For complete course requirements and application procedures, contact the department chair of Early Childhood, Education & Human Services. Course is graded on a pass/fail scale.
