LIT-212 — Masterpieces of World Literature II
This course continues the examination of the great works of the humanist tradition. Faculty select readings from the eighteenth century to the twentieth century from Moliere, Swift, Voltaire, Chekhov, Ibsen, Tolstoy, Conrad, Turgenev, Zola, Kafka, Singer, Bellow, Mishima, Orwell and Eliot. The list may vary. The course also includes an international studies module of the contemporary literature of Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
