This course examines the uniqueness of the Latin American experience as expressed in its literature. The course gives particular attention to those works that reflect the social, political, ethnic, or cultural values of Latin America. The course also examines the impact of Latin American themes and literary techniques on contemporary world literature. This course meets the General Education requirement for Creative Work. Pre/ Ed.
