This course is a continuation of Foundations of Algebra ( MAT-097 ). Topics in this course include polynomial arithmetic, introduction to functions, factoring, roots and radicals, rational expressions, absolute value inequalities, quadratic equations and the quadratic formula, and solving applied problems.
