This course is designed for students in non-STEM programs of study. Topics include descriptive statistics, probability, growth phenomena (linear, exponential, and logarithmic), and financial mathematics. There is an emphasis on applications using technology. Spreadsheet software will be integrated into the course and a scientific calculator is required. This course meets the General Education requirement for Quantitative Problem Solving. Gen. Ed.
