MIG-109 — Patient Care for Medical Imaging
This lab course covers organization and standards of the medical establishment: basic patient care procedures including vital signs, safety, immobility, body mechanics, and medical asepsis; CPR; and basic EKG, oxygen administration, and venipuncture skills. The importance of communication between the radiographer and the patient will be stressed. Simulated laboratory sessions offer students an opportunity to return demonstrated techniques. Ed.
