NUR-220 — Paitent Ctr Care-Adults & Families
This course focuses on patient-centered care of adults with complex health alterations as well as an integrated family approach to mothers, newborns, and children. Emphasis is placed on ing adult patients cope with alterations in body functions. Additional focus is placed on normal growth and development, common pediatric conditions, and the child-bearing family. Concepts of quality improvement, leadership, professionalism, evidence based practice. Informatics, teamwork and collaboration will be integrated throughout the course. Clinical experience provides an opportunity to apply theoretical nursing concepts and implement safe care to patients across the lifespan. Additional expenses may include supplies, equipment, and/or uniforms.
