PHY-251 — Physics I/Lab
This course is a calculus- based introduction to some of the fundamental principles and concepts of physics, using a problem-solving approach. The topics considered include the basic equations of motion, Newton’s laws and their applications, work, energy, momentum, rotational kinematics and dynamics, conservation laws, laws of universal gravitation, and simple harmonic and oscillatory motion. Class Meets 3 hrs. lecture; 3 hrs. lab Ed. Course No Mass Transfer Course Yes
