SOC-109 — Cultural Anthropology
This course demonstrates the way that the basic concepts and techniques developed by cultural anthropologists us understand various cultures and intercultural relations. Through ethnographic readings and films, students learn about kinship, gender, ethnicity, religion, and social change in a variety of cultures. The course increases awareness of cultural dimensions of human experience and the diversity and flexibility of human cultures.
