SON-216 — Subspecialty Sonography and Neurosonography

This hybrid course will familiarize the student with interpretation of normal and abnormal sonographic findings of subspecialty exams. This course will also have a hybrid and in-class component for an introduction to neurosonography. Related scanning techniques and associated Color Flow and Doppler are described. Sonographic/medical terminology, pathophysiology, clinical presentation and associated laboratory findings as they relate to subspecialty sonography and neurosonography will be covered. Ed.
