THR-202 — Theatre History II
This course provides an overview of theatre from 1650 to present. Focusing on key theatrical movements, playwrights, and productions, students will critically engage with the artistic innovations that have defined the theater landscape across different periods and regions. The reading of historically representative plays will prompt discussions of such topics as aesthetic developments, various acting approaches, and the evolving demographics of audiences.
