VMA-124 — Printmaking I

This course is an introduction to a variety of printmaking processes including woodcut, monoprint, engraving, and dry point. Students will experiment with tools, materials and techniques in a studio environment. Through drawing, research, discussion, and critique, students will develop their own visual ideas and use printmaking as means of expression.
