VMA-141 — Elements of Video Production

This course gives students an overview of the theoretical, aesthetic, and practical elements of digital video pre-production, production, and post-production. Through a series of creative exercises, lectures, and classroom critiques, students will gain an understanding of the fundamental skills required in planning, scripting, directing, shooting, lighting, and editing digital video productions for a variety of purposes and audiences. The course provides a special emphasis on understanding and using visual storytelling techniques to relate information and emotion. Recommended: VMA-105 Gen. Ed. Course No Mass Transfer Course Yes
