This course will enable the student to explore nursing concepts needed for leadership, management of care, and continuous quality improvement within professional nursing. The student will delineate the role and impact of regulatory bodies on the healthcare system. The student will identify the role of the nurse during a catastrophic event. Corequisite(s): NR 243
