ACCT 340 - Fraud Awareness ACCT 340 - Fraud Awareness Total Hours: 60 This course increases students’ awareness of fraud, focusing on financial statement fraud and asset misappropriation. Topics include fraud detection and prevention; internal controls weaknesses; symptoms and red flags; and investigation of fraud. The course considers the viewpoint of auditors, forensic accountants, fraudsters, victims, whistleblowers and silent bystanders. Prerequisites One of: C in ACCT 210 Bachelor degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
