ANTH 232 - Language/Culture/Communication ANTH 232 - Language/Culture/Communication Total Hours: 45 This course is an introduction to linguistic anthropology, focusing on the relationship between language and culture. Using cross-cultural examples this course looks at a number of topics including gender, intercultural (mis)communication, language socialization, nonverbal communication, ethnographic fieldwork and language contact.
