This includes an examination of what constitutes a crime, the elements for conviction and common defenses used in criminal law. Students will examine criminal statutes and cases from superior courts of Canada and BC. Prerequisites One of: C in any 100-level Criminology course And one of: C in ENGL 151 C in ENGL 161 C in ENGL 163 C in ENGL 164
