CRWR 150 - Introduction to Speculative Fiction CRWR 150 - Introduction to Speculative Fiction Total Hours: 60 Do you have a lively imagination? In this course, students will develop their skills in writing various types of speculative fiction, such as fantasy, magical realism, Indigenous futurisms, science fiction, horror, and weird fiction. Students will read and discuss representative samples from several subgenres; explore techniques for creating story concepts; practice world-building; develop their own original stories; and offer peer feedback.
