ECET 236 - Discrete Structures in Engineering ECET 236 - Discrete Structures in Engineering Total Hours: 45 Students will study the use of recurrence relations and generating functions in engineering problems, as well as engineering modeling with graphs, graph representation and traversal techniques, and their computational complexity. Use of branch-and-bound, divide-and-conquer, greedy, network flow, dynamic programming, approximation, and heuristic combinatorial algorithms in electrical and computer engineering applications will be covered. Prerequisites All of: C in MATH 250A C in MATH 251
