ENGL 094 - Provincial English Literature ENGL 094 - Provincial English Literature Total Hours: 45 Students in this course will develop critical and creative thinking skills essential for academic success. They will learn to evaluate arguments for validity, reliability, and objectivity; analyze literary elements across genres; and recognize tone, irony, and understatement in poetry, drama, and prose. Through practice, students will refine reading, research, and writing skills to produce literary analyses, essays, and research-based presentations. They will explore the power of language and its role in problem-solving while applying MLA conventions and integrating quotations effectively. These experiences will build confidence in communication and prepare students to thrive in postsecondary education and beyond. Note: ENGL 094 combined with ENGL 092 is equivalent to Provincial English 12 Pre or Co-requisites All of: C in ENGL 092
