ENGR264 — Engineering Mechanics
ENGR 264 - Engineering Mechanics ENGR 264 - Engineering Mechanics Total Hours: 75 Restricted to students in Civil Engineering Bridge to UBC or Mining Engineering Bridge to UBC Students will study the principles of solid mechanics focussing on calculus-based applications. They will cover: internal loads, stresses and strains due to axial, shear, bending and torsion loads, statically indeterminate structures, elasto-plastic behavior, deflection of beams, Mohr’s circle for stress and strain, and design of pressure vessels and column buckling. Prerequisites All of: C in ENGR 262
