GEOG 232 - Cultural Studies in Geography GEOG 232 - Cultural Studies in Geography Total Hours: 60 An introduction to contemporary cultural geography. In this course students will learn the role of space, place, community and region in relation to identity and cultural and social issues. Students will be exposed to topics including geographies of population, settlement, ethnicity, power, gender, class, cultural elements, environmental relations, and cultural landscapes. Prerequisites One of: C in any GEOG 100 or 200 level course And one of: C in any ENGL 100 or 200 level course
