IST 110 - Introduction to SENĆOŦEN IST 110 - Introduction to SENĆOŦEN Total Hours: 45 In this novice level course, students will learn about the five SENĆOŦEN language proficiency themes and expand their abilities in interpersonal communications , presentational speaking , presentational writing , interpretive reading , and interpretive listening . Students will study and practice the SENĆOŦEN orthography, learn vocabulary, greetings, introductions, acknowledgments, songs, and terms related to land and water. Through classroom instruction, experiential activities, and land-based learning experiences, students will cultivate a language practice community with their peers and deepen their connection to the SENĆOŦEN language learning experience in culturally relevant and supportive ways.
