IST 136 - Indigenous Justice and Law IST 136 - Indigenous Justice and Law Total Hours: 45 Students will examine Indigenous legal traditions and forms of justice, followed by a review of Indigenous peoples’ experiences in the Canadian criminal justice system including interactions with police, courts, and corrections. Using both experiential and theoretical learning processes, students will consider and assess opportunities for emerging approaches and initiatives to achieve reconciliation in relation to justice for Indigenous peoples.
