IST 308 - Communications & Organizational Culture IST 308 - Communications & Organizational Culture Total Hours: 45 Through this applied course, students build skills in leading effective communications for audiences internal and external to an organization. Drawing on Indigenous worldviews, they will examine diverse approaches to creating and sharing knowledge and resources, as well as identifying ways to empower principles of Indigenous data sovereignty. Students will develop confidence in their communication skills and strategies. They will learn to identify and draw on the supports, resources, and procedures needed to develop and produce effective communications related to strategic planning, operations, implementation, and reporting. Students engage with a range of types of communication, such as action plans, information briefs, proposals, media releases, and partnership agreements.
