MHA 140 - Practicum MHA 140 - Practicum Total Hours: 147 Restricted to students in Mental Health and Addictions The practicum course is an opportunity for students to put into practice what they have learned throughout the program. Through supported mentorship, students are given hands on experience in the community. Students will integrate and practice the knowledge and skills learned to assist individuals in mental health and addiction settings. Students will have the opportunity to apply evidence-based support strategies, develop therapeutic relationships, identify and access community resources and deepen their practice as a reflective practitioner within an interprofessional team.
