MRAD 117 - Introduction to Radiographic Procedures MRAD 117 - Introduction to Radiographic Procedures Total Hours: 240 Restricted to students in Medical Radiography In this novice course, students examine the basic components of a radiographic procedure, integrating foundational positioning skills for routine radiographic examinations of the body. In the laboratory setting, students will take radiographic images of phantoms (simulated human bodies) and analyze their images, while adhering to federal radiation safety standards. Students who successfully demonstrate critical clinical safety indicators while simulating radiographic procedures will advance to the novice clinical practicum.
