SOC 200 - Capitalism and Globalization SOC 200 - Capitalism and Globalization Total Hours: 45 This course examines the historical development of modern, capitalist society with an emphasis on contemporary processes of globalization. It introduces students to the economic, political, and cultural aspects of capitalism as they apply to Canada and the world. Topics include liberalism and neoliberalism, development and global poverty, imperialism and neocolonialism, global citizenship and the anti-globalization movement.
