This immersive exploratory course is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attributes to make informed decisions regarding potential career paths in the technologies. The course welcomes students into a supportive learning environment who may be curious about careers in technology but do not have the foundational knowledge or experience. Students learn to apply a technological perspective from various technology fields in order to analyse problems and propose solutions. Through self-reflection, students learn to identify educational pathways that fit their skills and interests. Students engage in hands-on exploration of technology fields, including mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, civil engineering, and computer science. Students engage in mentorship and networking events and participate in field trips and experiential learning activities to gain practical experience and apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.
