This course fulfills the requirements for students who are chemistry majors, life science majors or pursuing other majors that require college level organic chemistry. Topics covered in the course include foundational aspects of hydrocarbons and their select derivatives including functional groups on their structure, stereochemistry, reactions, and acid-base chemistry.
