CYBR202 — Cloud Infrastructure
Add to Personal Bookmarks Number of Explore cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), deployment models (public, private, and hybrid), virtualization, cloud networking, storage solutions, and cloud security fundamentals. Through hands-on labs, students will provision and manage a private cloud and cloud assets, configure cloud-based containers, storage and networking resources, implement security in the cloud, and deploy basic cloud-based applications. Emphasis is placed on industry best practices for cost management, scalability, and security in a vendor-neutral cloud environment. (Fall, Spring) Two hours lecture each week. Two hours laboratory each week. Three Credits. Three billable hours. Explain core cloud computing concepts including service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), deployment models (public, private, hybrid), and shared responsibility. 2. Describe how to provision and manage cloud resources such as virtual machines, storage, and networking. 3. Communicate basic cloud security and governance practices, including identity and access management, data protection, and cost monitoring. 4. Demonstrate the steps to deploy and maintain simple cloud-based applications using automation tools and cloud-native services. 5. Evaluate cloud solutions for real-world use cases, considering performance, scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. 6. Deploy application containers in a cloud managed environment.
