ECE100 — Introduction to Early Childhood Ed

Add to Personal Bookmarks Number of Introduction to Early Childhood Education examines the conceptual framework for understanding the role of the early childhood professional; focuses on understanding professional and legal responsibilities in the profession of early childhood education in the context of historical, philosophical, and social influences; and surveys contemporary trends, issues, and problems affecting young children such as discipline, single parent families, homelessness, child abuse and neglect, inclusion, accountability, and stress in children. It is recommended that ECE-100 be the first course taken for the associate’s degree unless students need the 90 certificate for employment or students participate in the Child Care Career and Development Fund.
