The second semester of a two-semester course covering: Trauma emergencies and appropriate treatment, special patient populations including; Obstetrics and neonatal care, pediatrics, geriatrics and patients with special challenges, EMS operations and Advance Support assistance. Includes the second semester of the lecture and laboratory elements required for State of Maryland Emergency Medical Technician and National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician certification course sequence.
