ENGL211 — Introduction to American Literature
Add to Personal Bookmarks Number of Introduction to American Literature examines major literary figures from the 19th through 21th centuries and explores the complexities of a multicultural nation, including but not limited to cultural assimilation and preservation, socio-economic hardship and privilege, urban and pastoral settings, and family tradition and dislocation. Authors studies in this course will be inclusive of minority writers and works will represent historically marginalized groups. (Summer) Three hours lecture each week. Three Credits.
