Writing and speaking will be improved through composition and class and discussions of cultural/contemporary issues. The course is conducted in German. Advanced Placement Exam (German with a score of 3) accepted for GERM-100, GERM-102, GERM-201, and GERM-202. CLEP (German Level 2 with a score of 59) accepted for GERM-100, GERM-102, GERM-201, and GERM-202. (Fall) Three hours lecture each week.
